The Jundishapur Journal of Health Sciences (JJHS) is dedicated to publishing research across the full spectrum of health sciences, including studies that examine the diverse determinants of health and the functioning of healthcare systems. JJHS functions as a broad, interdisciplinary forum that integrates public health, environmental health, and occupational health research. The journal's core focus is to investigate the factors—social, behavioral, environmental, and occupational—that influence health and disease, along with assessing the effects of health policies and public health interventions on communities.
We prioritize articles that offer in-depth analysis of the various determinants of health and healthcare systems. Submissions should address critical areas such as health promotion and education, risk assessment, health evaluations, healthcare service administration, and other topics that are integral to public health systems. Additionally, we welcome contributions from fields that, while not directly health-related, offer valuable insights into the improvement of health and healthcare systems.
The following themes are among those explored in JJHS:
Health education and promotion
Public health practices and strategies
Disease epidemiology
Health-related quality of life
Epidemiological research methods
Social and environmental determinants of health
