The Jundishapur Journal of Health Sciences (JJHS) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research articles, reviews, analytical studies, and applied works across a broad spectrum of health sciences. As an interdisciplinary platform, JJHS aims to foster the exchange of innovative findings and critical perspectives on individual, societal, and institutional aspects of health.

The journal places a particular emphasis on exploring the social, behavioral, environmental, and occupational determinants of health and disease, as well as assessing the impacts of health policies, interventions, and public health practices on communities. Priority is given to manuscripts that delve into areas such as public health education and promotion, risk assessment, health evaluation, healthcare service management, and other relevant topics in public health systems and policies.

JJHS also welcomes submissions from adjacent and interdisciplinary fields that make meaningful contributions to the understanding and advancement of the health sciences.

As part of its ethical commitment, JJHS strictly adheres to the principles and guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and maintains a transparent peer-review process. All published articles are freely accessible online under an open-access license, supporting wide dissemination and knowledge sharing.

JJHS is published by Ahvaz Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences (AJUMS) and is committed to promoting excellence in health research at both national and international levels.
